Grenada February 2026
Grenada wasn’t even on our radar, but we’re always looking for new adventures. A random listing from Sunwing caught our attention, and are we ever glad we explored further. A vibrant island full of colours, personality, and incredible history. We highly recommend this fascinating location , “The Spice Island”.
Norway May 2025
We’ve had Norway on our bucket list for a long time, the trouble always was how to get to see the most fascinating part of the country – the Fjords. We finally agreed that a cruise was the way to go. This allowed us access to small fishing villages and major ports as well.
UK 2025
The cruise to Norway departed from Southampton, a short drive from London. With family nearby, it was the perfect opportunity to roll two adventures into one. We spent the better part of a week in the south of England, exploring the English Riviera (yes, there’s palm trees !), The Moors, Stonehenge, and the big city of London.
Africa! September 2024
Years on the bucket list, and months of planning – the trip of a lifetime ! Pilanesberg National Park is just outside Johannesburg South Africa. We stayed at the incredible Shepherd’s Tree game lodge for 8 nights, but we could have stayed forever.
Mexico! January 2024
Don’t be fooled by this beautiful sunset, Cancun/Riviera Maya is on the East Coast of Mexico (Caribbean side), and this is a spectacular Sunrise ! The sun sets over land here, but we were up at the crack of dawn everyday to photograph to sunrise (and to claim chairs by the pool – a huge pet peeve of ours !)
USVI 2023
An invite to share an anniversary trip with friends, we couldn’t pass up the chance to see the famous beaches and scenery of the US Virgin Islands. Some of the bluest waters and white sand beaches we’ve ever encountered – but we’re always up to the challenge of trying to find more !
